Over time, that buildup becomes more than an inconvenience — it can create a genuine fire risk. AirRiffic provides thorough dryer vent cleaning for single-family homes, multi-family buildings, and commercial properties. With over 25 years of hands-on experience, we clean vents the way they’re supposed to be cleaned.
If your dryer takes longer to dry, feels unusually hot, or has a vent flap that barely opens, the vent line is likely restricted. Cleaning it restores airflow so the dryer can run safely, efficiently, and without unnecessary strain.

We clean the entire dryer vent line from the exterior termination point inward, using 200 PSI of compressed air and an air-snake equipped with a reverse-spinning head. This tool is engineered to break up lint, pet hair, and blockages and pull everything safely out of the vent line — preventing debris from being pushed into the home.
The reverse-spinning head also propels itself forward, allowing it to travel the full length of the vent, including tight turns, elbows, long runs, and multiple bends. A common question we get is whether the tool reaches all the way to the back of the dryer. Yes — the spinning motion drives it through the entire line, even in vents with challenging layouts or transitions. Since all debris is pulled backward toward the termination point, nothing is forced deeper into the system, and nothing blows into the laundry room. After the vent is cleared, we measure airflow at the exterior to ensure the dryer is exhausting properly and operating safely.
If the termination point is more than eight feet above the ground, a $50 access fee applies to account for the additional ladder work and equipment needed to reach it safely.
Your dryer pushes warm, humid air and lint through the vent line every time it runs. When lint, pet hair, or trapped debris builds up inside the vent, airflow slows, and heat gets trapped. That leads to overheating, longer drying times, moisture buildup, and in some cases, enough heat for the lint inside the line to ignite.
This applies to every type of property: single-family homes, townhomes, condos, apartment buildings, and commercial spaces like salons, pet grooming shops, restaurants, gyms, and assisted living communities. Anywhere dryers run regularly, buildup happens.
Dryer vent issues often go beyond lint buildup, and many homeowners choose to add these services while we’re already set up. You can select any add-ons that make sense for your home, and we’ll take care of them during the same visit.
Damaged, crushed, or overly long dryer vent runs make it impossible for the dryer to exhaust air correctly. We can replace sections of venting or reroute the line to improve airflow and reduce lint buildup.
Long vent runs sometimes rely on a booster fan to help move air to the exterior. When these fans clog with lint or fail, airflow drops dramatically. We can clean or replace the fan to restore proper performance.
A clogged or damaged exterior termination cap restricts airflow and traps moisture inside the line. We clean or replace the cap to ensure the vent can exhaust safely and completely.
A clean dryer vent keeps your home or building safe and helps your dryer run the way it’s supposed to. AirRiffic proudly serves homeowners and businesses throughout Minneapolis, St. Paul, St. Cloud, Minnetrista, Hudson (WI), and the surrounding Twin Cities metro.
